Majesco asks players to ante up with TEXAS HOLD ?EM POKER DS for the Nintendo DS. Revolving around one of the most popular card games in the country, TEXAS HOLD ?EM POKER DS features touch screen controls, multiplayer options, and even country-wide tournaments. The game offers a number of different modes, including quick game, tournament, and career mode. Quick game pits players against ten computer opponents, while tournament allows gamers to set up Texas Hold ?Em tournaments with either computer opponents or up to six DS gamers via wi-fi connection. Career mode tracks player?s games and winnings as they struggle to become the Texas Hold ?Em champion, and players can save their bank roll to use in a later game by writing down a special password. Special events hosted by Majesco, including large-scale tournaments, are also available at special times. Players can use the Nintendo DS?s touch screen to manage their chips, view percentages, and control the action. They will also want to use the dual screen to keep an eye on their opponents. TEXAS HOLD ?EM POKER DS features a complex tell system where observant players can pick up on the nervous habits of their computer opponents, making it easier to tell when they are bluffing. Gamers who love Texas Hold ?Em will find TEXAS HOLD ?EM POKER DS a great game. The opportunity to compete in country-wide tournaments or against five other players will make players feel like they are actually in a Vegas casino.
